Community Involvement

Participation

The London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® is actively involved with the communities
we serve. Not only do we upload commercial real estate listings to the City of London and the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex ’s web sites, we also assist the business recruitment efforts of the London Economic Development Corporation by providing real estate information to respective companies and individuals. The Association is represented on the Municipal Affairs Committee of
the London Chamber of Commerce , Federal/Provincial offices, the Executive of MainStreet London the Housing Advisory Committee of the City of London and the St. Thomas Social Housing Advisory Committee.

Community Service

LSTAR’s community service is targeted towards shelter-related charities.
Mission Services of London , the Unity Project Shelter, the REALTORS Care Foundation , Women’s Community House , and Violence Against Women Services (Elgin County) are its principal beneficiaries. To date the Association has raised over $200,000 for Mission Services through its enormously successful Homes for Hope® program.
